a beautifully blessed family

There are some people that enter your life to remind you of the power of love and resilience. This beautiful little family are simply incredible. The effervescent, lovable Ella and her strong willed little brother Lachie are babies you want to cuddle and kiss. They are old souls. Little Lachie had just come home from the hospital when I met with them. Born at 26, weeks he came home to his family at 41 weeks. So knowing, so unbelievably alert, and full of bravery. Bravery learnt from his incredible Mum and Dad. I feel blessed having been invited on their journey, to be able to capture the smallest of moments in a life that is destined to be full and rich.

Spending time with childhood friends and their families is always a special thing for me as a friend, and as a photographer. Watching Jessie raise these beautiful boys has been an absolute pleasure and I am inspired by her patience and calm. 3 beautiful boys, each with such different personalities kept me on my toes, in fits of laughter and dreaming of a family that continues to grow :) This is why I love what I do, afternoons like this one, that warm your heart...

I met Rachel, Levi and Orlando at the Cott Civic Gardens a few weekends ago for a lovely little family session. Glorious sunshine, beautiful smiles and a Mummy with a baby bump that just radiates beauty, what more could I ask for :) A beautiful gift is on its way and this gorgeous little family could not be more excited.
