Talya and Shane married early last year on Talya's Grandfathers Pecan Orchard in Gin Gin, rural Western Australia. Not only was the landscape breathtaking and unique, but it was born from what can only be described as a labor of love. Talya, Shane and their families spent countless hours preparing 'Netti's Place' as well has hand crafting their Chuppah to marry under, bench seats, tables and decorations, they hand strung up over 2km of fairy lights!!
Talya thought of everything, right down to custom card boxes for their picnic dinners to fit in perfectly. Each table was delivered their four courses as a picnic, emphasizing their love for the relaxed family style dinner. The vintage, bone handled cuttlery was wrapped in embroidered napkins and just about everything else was re or up-cycled. Talya and Shane entered their Reception after the photos, by walking the long stretch of Pecans, and at the same time the families started to gather to kick off the party with some traditional Jewish dancing. Fun!
There was a combining of families, traditions, laughter and most importantly love. And the sun...and the fields...and the tree's...A photographers dream!
