My beautiful childhood friend Nickie "Dickie, NicDic" married her handsome fellow, and father to their beautiful Evie, Kayne, on a family farm in April this year. It was wonderful, heartwarming and quite honestly a little bit surreal. Families uniting, and growing and sharing all the love a wedding deserves. A beautiful ceremony, complete with a herd of cattle trudging up the paddock to witness their 'I do's', followed by portraits in said paddock, and dancing under the stars made this a truly magical day.
We shared so many moments together as teens; dreaming of driving old cars - and then driving in each others, taking photos, writing out song lyrics, talking about boys... being able to capture these moments, and sharing them with our own babies was truly special. Although I choked up through most of my reading during the Ceremony, it was lovely to be able to step out of photographer mode, and be a little part of their union. Thank you, thank you to the gorgeous and talented Lauren Stubbings Photography for assisting through the Ceremony and running the Photo booth in the evening. You are a treasure for giving up your time for our very special Bride.
If you are looking for a fabulous, fun, effervescent band, Cyclone Tracee is the person to call! Everyone stomped the grass in between heartfelt speeches, well into the night. The perfect way to end the perfect day.
